Special Events & Dates

March 28 - Floral Bouqet Design Class   - 2:30 pm

Cost $20.  Leslie will teach this class.  You will have the chance to create your own floral  bouquet out of fresh floiwers.  Each person will go home with a beautiful cut flower arrangement in a vase.  Cost is $20 (55+ $10)


April 3 - The Taste -  5:00 - 8:00 pm

This event presented by The Rotary.   Location: Tibetan American Foundation of Minnesota (formerly Spirit River Community Center)  1321 Heritage Boulevard Northeast Isanti, MN 55040. Cost $25


April 11 - Knitting and Crocheting Group - 12:30 pm

We begin a brand-new knitting and crocheting monthly get together. Sandra Hedlund will coordinate this self-led group where everyone can share their skills and knowledge and also grow their talents with each other and make new friends. All skill levels are welcome. Coffee and tea will be available.There is no cost for this activity.


April 18 - Healthy Harvest in your Home
Make-Take Herb Garden
-  1:30 to 3:00 pm

Joan Mick, master gardener, will provide step by step instructions and will provide education on: what nutrients plants need, best growing conditions, when to know when to water and when to put pots outside; preserving herbs by freezing or drying. Class size is limited. Cost is $20.00 for supplies - (55+ $10)


April 21 - Book Club -  11:00 am to noon

Books are borrowed from the East Central Regional Library. There is no cost for this activity.


April 22 - Senior Fair -  9:00 am to noon

Location: Cambridge City Center Mall. Health Screenings available include blood pressure, balance, sleep, stroke, diabetes, nutrition, and cognitive assessments. Follow-up care to help seniors understand and use results will be available. Come see us at SAC's for a free cup of coffee and a treat. There is no cost for this activity.


May 11 - Mother's Day Celebration - English Tea

Three seatings beginning at 11:00 am.

Cost is $25 per person (55+$15).
